BTL 2024 Toscanello

Cabernet franc and sangiovese were the first two red grapes planted in our vineyard in 1989-1990. A blend of these varieties became the popular Villa Appalaccia “Toscanello.” With additional grapes in production, the proportions have changed over the years. This year’s vintage features sangiovese, cabernet franc and merlot.

Medium to full body, this smooth, dry wine is full of complex flavors. Loaded with blackberry and dark cherry, it finishes with subtle notes of vanilla, tea leaves and almonds, making it a great pairing for a wide range of dishes and cuisines.
